The RBS Future Bank team at SapientNitro created some incredible concepts for retail banking in 2013.

Rafael joined the team as ACD of User Experience at the end of 2013 and led, for 11 months, 3 UX designers, working in a highly collaborative way with the ACD of Design and his team.

The Brand Union developed a new visual identity for Natwest and RBS. Rafael and the ACD of Design managed a team that stress-tested and extended the visual identity to the digital space.

Rafael also recruited and managed two Lean UX teams. The first team looked after the online banking mobile app for iOS, Android and Windows Phone (two Senior UX designers, one Senior Visual Designer and two Visual Designers).

The second team (one Senior UX designer, one Senior Visual designer and two visual designers) conceptualised the next generation of online banking for retail customers, including desktop, tablet, mobile and branch, while working with the Product Manager to define the product vision and strategy.
